Cute As A BUG - A LadyBug

CC went as a ladybug for Halloween. We went to the Harvest Festival with some friends and had a great time. I think CC will have even more fun next year because she will be able to enjoy all of the games they had set up. There were also a bunch of bouncers to play in. I sure don't remember having those when I grew up.

After we left the Harvest Festival we went by Aunt Cheryl's and Grandma M and Grandpa D's place. Everyone though she was a pretty cute ladybug.

CC Walking

Finally here is a quick video of CC walking. This video was from last week and today (11/2/08) she is walking great. More walking than crawling now. Where did my little baby go? It ALMOST makes me want another little one, but sshhshhh, don't tell the grandparents. It might put crazy ideas in their heads. Isn't she just amazing though?? God is good!!

CC and the Dog Food

No!! We do not feed our precious little daughter dog food. She seems to have this odd fascination with the refrigerator (as seen from previous pictures) and now with Mira's dog food. She has turned out to be quite the climber and she is reaching all the way to the middle shelf of the refrigerator to get to the can of dog food.


My mom told me that I used to eat dog food when I was little. Let's hope I didn't pass this childhood pastime onto my daughter :)

First Flu Shots

These are pictures of CC's first flu shots. I made the appointment early so we wouldn't have to wait. So, there the three of us were without showers and getting CC her flu shot. She was so very brave, she only cried just a bit. The pictures don't look very good - we were still a little groggy.

She Balks, She Talks, She WALKS!!

Today, Friday, October 24th CC started really walking. She can take about 7 steps now before she gets frustrated. She is very aware of the fact that she can still crawl faster than she can walk. I cried, I just can't believe how grown up she is. We didn't get any pictures of her walking that day, but here is a picture of us together shortly after all the excitement.

Norma Visits Boise

These are pictures of when Norma and her mom Phyllis came for a quick trip to Boise. I was so glad we all got to visit with each other. The four of us went to dinner and boy oh boy I missed dad. Little CC was a pain in the patooty. Everything went straight from her hand to the floor. The waiter was kind enough to bring some extra napkins (I think it appeared that we NEEDED them). No sooner did he set the napkins on the table than CC had the stack of them flying in the air. At least with dad we can tag team her. We enjoyed visiting and getting caught up. They time went by way too fast.

CC's Future Boyfriend

Here is a picture of CC's future boyfriend. Yes, this is the boy that gave CC her first kiss. This picture doesn't show off his fabulous red hair, but look at those big beautiful eyes. CC has excellent taste in future beaus.

CC & T

This is a video from last Friday night. Some good friends of ours were watching CC while dad and I went to bible study. Aren't they just precious together? See how T pushes Caitlynn on the dump truck.

CC and the Bookshelf

This is the bookshelf in the office. We had to remove all the trinkets from the bottom shelf because they were within CC's reach. Did I mention that she is into EVERYTHING? Oh yes, I think I did.


Here she is crawling into and out of the bookshelf. She has turned into quite the troublemaker, but isn't she so cute...

CC the Gymnast

She seems to get into places that she can't get herself out of. CC's new thing is climbing over the rails in the dining chairs. She thinks it is the funnest things. Never mind she has a closet and a living room full of toys. At first she couldn't figure out how to get herself out of this predicament. Now she almost has it mastered, when she doesn't go head first.

CC and the Purple Cow - MOO

These are some pictures I took today, I just love being home with CC on Mondays. Here she is playing with her purple cow that Grandma Bonnie got her a long time ago. It's fun to watch how much she is really enjoying her toys and animals. Where did my little baby go??

Would You Like Some Mustard With That?

You would not believe how fast CC gets into things...really!! When we open the refrigerator door she immediately crawls right over to see what she can get her little hands on. Typically the ketchup bottle is her favorite, but this time she had to get out the mustard and the mayonnaise too. You can tell by the look on her face that she is having a mischievous good time. I hope you all don't think I'm staging these pictures because I promise - - I'm not!

Fun with the Grandparents

Here's CC at home with the grandparents on the Monday when I was out of town. As you can see she had a great time. She is always so proud of herself that she can climb the stairs like a big girl. Every single day I am amazed at how fast she has grown.

Mommy Will Be Back In Two Days...

This was so hard, I had to leave my loving family for a three day trip. It wasn't far, but I was away from them for two whole nights. These are some pictures from that day. It was hard, but we made it through just fine.
