We Are Off To The Movies

On Saturday, before church, we decided to attempt a movie and took CC to the Princess and the Frog.  At first she was scared when it got dark and then she seemed to enjoy the movie.  We made it through the popcorn and the gummie bears and then she grew wrestless.  We ended up leaving after 40 minutes, better luck next time.  At least we went to the cheap theater.

At the Grandparents for Dinner #2

These are the pictures from last Friday night when we went over to see the Grandparents.  D made a delicious beef stew and M had the best salad with all the fixins.  They bought CC her own chair to sit in and she had dinner, banana cookies, ice cream and pie.  Then she got to sit on their bed to watch Mickey.  Now wonder she is getting so spoiled!!

Tuesday Morning

On this Tuesday morning before leaving CC turned into a giggle machine.  I should have been taking videos instead of snapping pictures. 

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup = Yummy

CC and I were still a little under the weather last Monday so I decided to make us some Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. CC hadn't had soup before so I didn't know if she would like it or not. At the time I was on the phone with a friend of mine and I asked her if she thought a two year old was ready for soup. She responded that her daughter ate it all the time.

Sue enough CC ate two bowls and still wanted more. Next time I'll be sure to use a bib!!

Valentine's Day

Here are some pictures from Valentine's Day.  We didn't do much since we are still recovering from that sickness we had.  We had cinnamon rolls and the grandparents came over for a quick visit.  We all stayed in our jammies all day and dad and I played Mario (World 7 - yeah!).  Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Hand In The Cookie Jar???

Just look who got her hand caught in the "cookie jar".  Well, it wasn't me!!  I snapped a couple of these when she didn't think dad or I were looking.  Not that she would have cared :)

I had some Valentine's candy out on the table and the little sneaker crawled right up on the chair and onto the table to help herselft to a handful of Jelly Bellys and M&Ms.  It's a good thing she's so cute, God sure know what he was doing here. 

The Next Day

Then Dad got sick too and even stayed home from work last Monday.

Poo's Potluck Poker Party Pictures

Here are some pictures from Pooh's Potluck Poker Party.  Dad and I had so much saying that and trying to find other "p" words to add to it :)  Dad made french dips and everyone brought something yummy to share.  Jeff was the lucky winner of poker, though Kevin and Debby gave him a "run for his money".  I crack myself up : )

What I most enjoyed was watching the kids play together. It is just amazing how much they have grown, yes, even Kooper. The kids had mac and cheese and and ate at CC's new table, they ran around like monkeys, and even watched a little TV.  At the end of the evening CC fell asleep and I thought what a good little girl. Little did I know whe was sick with a fever.  Dad and I stayed up with her until 3:30 am.  All in all it was a great evening.  Thanks everyone for joining us.

Dinner at the Grandparents

A couple of weeks ago (I know I'm way behind on blogging) we went over to the grandparent's house for dinner.  D made a delcious pork roast with asparagus and other veggies.  Everything was so yummy. CC had all kinds of new toys to play with over there.  We all had a great time.
