Here are some pictures of CC’s first day of Pre School. As you can see from the pictures CC was very excited about this big day. K took her to school and she only cried a little bit, but then of course she was with her friends so that helped. The first week they studied dinosaurs and made fun hats. She had a great time at school and told me all about it when she got home later that day.
The Tuesday after we got back I had to get CC ready for her first day of pre-pre school. We curled her hair, I packed her lunch and got her clothes all ready for her first day. She was so excited.
After we got back from our trip the grandparents took us out to dinner for my birthday. We opened presents and I got beautiful roses and a fabulous necklace (that I wear all the time now), I got a new CD and figurine (for our collection) from Sean and CC. I also got my new Ariat boots from my wonderful husband – love them AND him :) Then the grandparents gave me a BEAUTIFUL bracelet that I LOVE.
Off to Cheesecake Factory we went, but no pictures because someone forgot the camera. We brought home our cheesecake and it was the perfect evening. Thank you everyone for making my day so special!
For our last day in San Antonio we decided take another stroll down the River Walk and grab lunch before heading off to the airport. This is where CC’s “cheesy” smile began. Maybe she just got tired of posing for so many pictures.
In one of the pictures below you can see CC wave to the boat full of people. Every time one of the tour boats went by she was sure to wave and say hi!
It was a gorgeous day in San Antonio so CC and I decided to spend my birthday at the “rooftop” pool. The ground was SO hot you couldn’t walk around without shoes for even a few seconds. We played in the water for about an hour and then ordered up some chicken strips and a virgin Pina Colada for mommy. We were having a great time sharing lunch together but CC’s tummy started giving her trouble so we headed back to the room about an hour after lunch.
While Dad was at his conference CC and I headed over to the mall. The first store we hit was…..of course….The Disney Store. I was looking for a birthday dress for CC, but she found Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She fell in love instantly with this little doll and begged me to buy it for her. I told her no, that we were there for other things. I gave the doll to the clerk when CC wasn’t looking and paid for it when we were done shopping. Once outside the store I told CC that I had a surprise for her. She was so happy!
Then to top off an already great day we headed down the River Walk for some ice cream. It melted pretty fast so CC decided to drink it out of the cup. I still haven’t been able to get the stains out of this shirt.
On this morning we got up early and headed out to see The Alamo. It was smaller than I expected, but very interesting. The weather was starting to cool down just a bit so that was nice too.
