Resurrection Day

For Easter our neighborhood had an Easter Egg Hunt and there were eggs as far as you could see.  The grandparents (D&M) came over for brunch and we did another egg hunt at the house.  Happy Resurrection Day everyone  He is risen!!

Game Night with Friends

We went over to a friends house to play some cards and had such fun.  It was Lisa’s daughter’s birthday so we had some pretty decadent chocolate cake on top of all the food we ate.  We ended up playing Tripoly and I think Dad and I came out the most ahead.  CC fell asleep around 11 and Dad and I didn’t even head home until 2 am.  That was a record setting late night for us, that’s for sure.

Trip to California/Reno

The three of us took a trip to see my mom in the hospital.  We were expecting her to go home that weekend, but was put back in the ICU.  The first couple of months of the year really were a whirlwind.  We spent a couple of days visiting my mom and B and then drove home and stopped to visit my dad and Grandma S.  We went to the arcade that CC likes so much and she got to play a few games and then collect her prizes.  Then we went to check into our hotel and hit the pool for a bit.  It was a long several days, but glad we were able to make the trip.

Tyler and Leah’s Wedding
