The Rock and Worship Concert

This concert was awesome. The tickets were only $10.00 for this concert so we had to stand in line for quite a long time, but it was worth it. We had a great time and now I love Addison Road more than I did before. I think there was close to 11,000 people there...wow!

Hawk Nelson and 10th Avenue North were also there, but we didn't get pictures. What a fun evening Y

Our Picnic

The next day after our visit to the playground we decided to go on a picnic. We rode our bikes down to a park a few miles away. We had a nice healthy lunch and let CC run around for a little bit. Tonight is the Rock and Worship Concert, yeah!!

Our First Bike Ride for 2009

Finally the weather was warm enough to go on our first bike ride of the year. We ended up riding down the the playground in our subdivision and CC had a great time. She is such an independent thing it just astounds me. She walks off by herself and even stepped off of the curb and did a nose dive into the bark. Thankfully she was okay!

Anyway I (of course) had my camera with me and took a bunch of pictures. We really had a great time!

Our Anniversary

It was our anniversary on March 16th and when I got home I had these waiting for me. I have the best husband in the whole world. Thank you honey, I love you so much!

Cutie Pie

Here are some pictures that I took of CC the day Grammy went home. She is now wearing 18 month clothes, though the pants are still a little long. I put her hair up in little pig tails, but that didn't last long.

Sitting in the Big Girl Chair

Dad, Grammy and I went to the used store and bought CC a "big girl chair" so that she can sit with us at the dinner table. I think it made her feel very important (just what we need). It's really just a booster seat, but CC seemed to really like it.

Ice Cream with Grammy

We had planned to go the Zoo, but the day turned out to be blistery, windy, and drizzly. So, we went out for ice cream. It turns out that CC is as big a chocolate fan as her mommy - sorry dad, but she had to get something from me.

The Bunny Ears

We were shopping at Pier One and dad put these bunny ears on CC. Isn't she cute? Y

The Bubbles

My mom got out a thing of bubbles and had some fun with CC. Though we were on our way to church, there is always a little time to stop and smell the bubbles (okay, I'm not as funny as Dad). Anyway, CC was quite amazed at this new found toy.

Grandparents at Card Night

The grandparents (David and Marlene) came over for our a get together we had with our good friends for "card night". We had a good time. My mom and I lost all Dad's money, but fortunately my mom won it back in the end. I wish I had taken more pictures of all of us together.

Time to Pick Up Dad

I always miss Dad when he's away for work, but this time me and CC REALLY missed him. We were both very excited when it was time to pick him up from the airport. He arrived 25 minutes early (yeah), probably because he had a female pilot. Of course, Sean said that she had to stop and ask directions en route. He's so funny !! Y

Grammy's Visit, Part II

Grammy arrived and couldn't wait to ready CC a bedtime story.

The next day we went to the mall and CC was a big girl and got to walk part of the time instead of being cooped up in the stroller all day.

The next morning Grammy helped CC make a fort in the living room.
