For CC’s birthday my mom made her a pair of “glass slippers”. She glued jewels all over them to make them look sparkly. CC LOVES them!! She puts on her dress up clothes and walks around the house like a little princess.

Trick or Treat
These are pictures from Halloween. We went over to Grandpa and Grandma D’s house for a quick visit and then went to a couple of houses in our neighborhood. CC had so much fun. Every time there was a child handing out candy at the door CC was quick to give them a hug. When we got home we let her pass out the candy to the children. She had a great time doing that and was very generous with her handfuls!!

Boo at the Zoo
The day before Halloween our zoo had an event called “Boo at the Zoo”. CC’s friend’s mom invited us to go with them and I was so glad we did. It was super crowded, more crowded than Disneyland when we went, but it was so much fun. CC and her friend held hands EVERYWHERE we went, it was adorable!! CC just loves playing dress up!

Trunk or Treat
The day before Halloween CC’s school had a thing called Trunk or Treat. The parents were invited to come early and take part handing out candy to all the children. It was so much fun to go and see CC with all of her little friends.

A Little Cold
CC came down with a little cold, probably from school or from church. Anyway I snapped up a couple of pictures because she looked so cute. I am so biased!!! She doesn’t look very sick, does she?

Song of the Month for November 2010
SONG OF THE MONTH
November 2010
“YOU CAN HAVE ME”
_______________________________
If I saw You on the street
And You said come and follow me
But I had to give up everything
All I once held dear and all of my dreams
Would I love You enough to let go
Or would my love run dry
When You asked for my life
When did love become unmoving?
When did love become unconsuming?
Forgetting what the world has told me
Father of love, You can have me
You can have me
If You’re all You claim to be
Then I’m not losing anything
So I will crawl upon my knees
Just to know the joy of suffering
I will love You enough to let go
Lord, I give you my life
I give you my life
I want to be where You are
I’m running into Your arms
And I will never look back
So Jesus, here is my heart

The Birthday Boy
A good friend of ours turned three on this special day. We went to a place with bouncy houses and had a wonderful time. Dad and I event went down the big slide with CC – several times. I think we may have had more fun than the kids.
CC and I were trying to get out of one of the bouncy houses and were laughing so hard because she couldn’t get up the slide and I couldn’t get back over to help her, we laughed and laughed. And then CC tells me, “mommy I pee peed”. Oh no I said. Fortunately the staff there were really helpful and very understanding. Aunt Kris saved the day with an extra pair of dry pants for CC.
Happy Birthday to T!!!!
