Mommy's Day

On Friday night we took the grandparents out to eat for Mommy's day. CC wasn't as well behaved as we had hoped at the restaurant so these were the only pictures we got. Happy Mother's Day to all!

Card Night at the Crane House

A few weeks back our friends, the Cranes, invited us over for dinner and cards. We took CC along and she had a great time. The food was DELICIOUS and the Crane's home is BEAUTIFUL! Our friends took turns holding CC as they await their precious baby girl.

Daddy Wednesday In the Bumbo

These are pictures of CC sitting in her Bumbo. The Bumbo is designed for young kids to help them sit up, as you can see, munchkin' is getting a little big for this. I just had to get a Bumbo and spent $35.00 on ebay for this one and never used it. Thanks to CC it is finally getting used. Let The Swimming Begin

These are pictures from CC's first swim class. She looks excited and she doesn't even know where she's going. We went with our good friends and had a great time. We did the Hokey Pokey, The People on the Bus, we blew bubbles and practiced floating on our back and on our belly. I was thankful that the pool was nice and warm. We have swimming now on Mondays and Wednesdays for the next four weeks. It sure is keeping us busy. There are some videos at the bottom. Don't forget to turn the music player off.

Softball Begins

Softball season is upon us. This was the first game of the season so it was still a bit cold. We bundled up CC and off we went. While Dad was playing softball I took CC over to the playground. She really had a great time, in fact she cried hysterically when we went to leave. As you can see, she really took a liking to the slide. She's getting to be such a big girl. I didn't get any pictures of the game, but I will make sure to do that next time.

Our New Couches

Well, here are some pictures of our new couches. My mom wanted to see them since she helped us pick them out. She had a trip planned here, but since Dad and CC got sick we had to cancel. So I decided to post them here so that Grammy could see them (since she doesn't have e-mail).

CC now has new toys to play on (she has turned into a climbing monkey) and since the couches recline she likes to play with the buttons sending me and dad back and forth.

Just Like My Daddy

CC just loves to play around in the office and be like dad. She sees him working from home every Wednesday and loves to sit in his chair and play with the keyboard. She was very pleased with herself when she got up in the chair all by herself (because it just isn't the same when mom helps her up). Y

On Our Way Home

We stopped for a quick bite of breakfast before heading home. I just love these two so much!!!

Dinner Time at Oceanos

We had dinner at a restaurant called Oceanos, it was so good. I had lobster bisque and Dad and I split Mahi Mahi and Calamari. Dad even ordered his very favorite - Creme Brulee, he has been so good with his diet lately that he deserved it. I think I gained five pounds in three days. Did I mention the fudge I had at Cabelas? Yeah, I didn't think so : )

Our Trip to Cabelas in Reno

The weather was pretty crummy while we were there and Dad wanted to check out the Cabelas in Reno - so off we went! It was much bigger than ours here and lots more animals. They also had a shooting range there so that was pretty fun too.
