Dad’s Birthday

Here are some pictures from Dad’s birthday.  The grandparents came over and we had yummy lasagna.  I even ventured out and made him a special pineapple upside down cake.  I had sworn off making cakes after CC’s birthday cake fiasco, but I’m back at it.  I think as long as multiple cakes or frosting aren’t involved, I’m okay. 

Christmas Decorations

This was an all day Christmas decorating extravaganza!!  We listened to Christmas music and had a wonderful day.  Oh…and the best part…we stayed in our Christmas jammies all day :)

Oh Christmas Tree

We went out to pick up our Christmas tree and then off for some Mexican food at one of our favorite places.  Then home for the BSU game.  Go BSU!

Home on a Mommy Monday, CC decided to take out her princess paints that she got for her birthday.  She was entertained for almost an hour :)

A Day of Thanks

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving.  We had soooo much food – a turkey, a ham, green bean casserole, jello, yams, pie….I can’t even think of all the food we had and it was all delicious!!  We played Yahtzee and Dad and I won!!  CC loved every minute spent with her Uncle Tyler since he was home from school.  We have so very much to be thankful for!

Excellence Award

I am so proud of my husband. He was recently honored with the Bob Rebholtz In Excellence Award at work. My husband was selected out of the entire company which is over 1,000 people. I'm so amazed at how the Lord blesses us each day and thankful to have this wonderful man in my life. You might have to double click on the document below so that it's large enough to actually read.

I’m A Princess

Last Monday CC woke up wearing her “wonderful dress” (of course) and was happily watching cartoons – or so I thought.  I was busy doing something in the office and CC came over to me and said “Mommy, I’m a  Princess” and did a little twirl. All by herself CC had put on her crown, her princess shoes and the necklace that Belle had given her.  I just love my girly girl!!

NASCAR Sunday

Last Sunday we went over to the grandparents house for a wonderful lunch and Uncle T was home from school too.  There CC received more fabulous birthday gifties.  Thank you to Uncle T and Aunt L for spoiling your niece with a wonderful playdoh kit and Ballerina Barbie!!
