Christmas Day

These are our pictures from Christmas.  Dad made prime rib and we had baked potatos, green bean casserole, mandarin orange surprise and Grandma Bonnie's yummy rolls.  Everything was delicious.  Dad got me a Wii and we had a blast playing all morning and the following days (I'm a little sore).

Once again I feel so blessed to have my family, our health and God in our life.  What more could we possible want.  I'm so thankful...

Happy Birthday Jesus!

These are pictures from Christmas morning. CC was full of excitement and loves to open presents. I think she is still too young to fully understand the birth of Jesus, but soon she will know the true meaning of Christmas (not just Santa and presents).

Christmas Eve

These are pictures for Christmas Eve. We decided our Christmas Eve dinner tradition will be Waffles and Bacon ... yum!! My wonderful husband came up with that. After going to church and eating our waffles, we opened our stockings by the fire.

Happy New Year!!!

Y May God Bless Us Everyone Y

Our Visit to See Santa

We took CC to see Santa again this year, but it didn't go much better than it did last year. We got these pictures (below) when my mom and I took her on the other side of the Santa area to try to get her comfortable with the whole idea. Needless to say, these were the only pictures we got. The minute she got to Santa's lap she cried and didn't want any part of it. We'll try again next year.

The Sugar Cookies

These are pictures of the three of us making sugar cookies. I had to admit they where a little harder to make than I though. I even followed Alton Brown's tips for the successful sugar cookie and Grandma Bonnie's failproof recipe. After a couple of tries and (literally) cups of flour later (I had trouble with them sticking to the counter) they turned out okay. Dad said he really liked them, but I didn't believe him at first. The entire batch is gone, so I guess I believe him now. There is a video of CC at the bottom.
