Finally we arrived at our hotel and stayed at the Grand Hyatt (very nice place). It was right on the Riverwalk. After we checked in we decided to take a walk and get some dinner. We decided on a Mexican food place that Dad had been to before and it was delicious. There were ducks and pigeons all around and CC kept feeding them her tortilla chips, but at least it kept her occupied. It was SO HOT there and STICKY, but it was a great walk after being cooped on a plane for most of the day.
After dinner we went on a river boat ride and got to see the entire Riverwalk and learn of the history. Pretty interesting.
