Pool Party

Last weekend we had some friends over for a swim party. We took all the kiddies swimming and then dad bar-b-qued some hot dogs for dinner. The most fun for me was watching all the kids play together. A year ago these little ones, didn't do much (I think they were just barely crawling - T might have been almost walking). Now they are monkeys, running and playing, and sharing/stealing toys, eating normal foods, such a change. They were really good together.


We had hot dogs and S made a great avocado salsa - really really good (I got the recipe)!! After it all I reflected on how much parenting has changed me. God has truly done an amazing work in my life. It reminds me daily to never question the plans that He has for us.


We all had a really good time together and I would love to see us get together more often.


(P.S. Speaking of changes; at dinner (yes, at dinner) someone brought up olives, which got me to mention one of CC's poops and what it looked like after eating olives. I didn't even think twice about it, nor did anyone else at the table - I don't think. We talked about poops for a few minutes before K said, "look at us adults talking about kid's poop". Pretty funny... You had to be there Y)
