As I ready the house for a very special monkey birthday party I look at my daughter with complete amazement; I can't believe she is two years old today. While I sit back and wonder where the time has gone I reflect upon wonderful memories. Memories of being pregnant, her birth, her first tooth, first step, and first words. Admittedly it all happened before my eyes and quicker than I ever expected. I'm thankful to know that this is clearly God's perfect plan at work.
What joy CC has brought into our lives! Her dad and I have a love for her that cannot be described. Ahhh, but there is nothing like the love a parent has for their child. It makes me so thankful for the amazing love the Lord, our Father, has for each one of His children, it is humbling to me. What a miracle God has made in CC and only by His love do I even know this love for a child not even imagined three years ago. I'm so thankful to the Lord for a plan that is not my own and for His amazing grace He shines upon us every day.
So, as Dad and I embark on new territory like potty training, moving CC to a "big girl bed" and overcoming the terrible twos I'm excited for what the coming year holds. What a wonderful and precious little girl CC is growing up to be, she is truly a gift from God!!
