This next morning was an early park day. Upon entering the park we ran into Donald and stopped to say hi and get his autograph. Then after riding on the Matterhorn we took CC to see Dumbo. Then off to Pixie Hollow to see Tink before the line got too long. Then to Blue Bayou (the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride) for the famous Monte Cristo sandwich – so yummy – a little heavy for me though!!
We got to to ride Grizzly River Run (which was just outside our hotel entrance). The line was over an hour long, but Dad and I got to walk up through the Exit to ride since we were “single riders”. We didn’t have to wait at all. We got SOAKED, then went up to the room to change our clothes.
That night we decided to camp out to get a good spot for Fantasmic. We settled on a spot around 6 pm and the show started at 8:30. It was a long wait, but we had a picnic dinner and will definitely do this again next time. It was a nice break to finally sit down. We need to remember to bring a blanket next time.
