The High Desert Museum

These are pictures from the High Desert Museum. Can you believe that in all the time I lived in Oregon I never went for a visit. It was really more Dad's kind of thing than mine, but they did have some cool exhibits. They had an old sawmill which reminded me very much of Little House on the Prairie and CC really like the chickens. The bronze statue of the big horse (below) scared CC and she cried for a few minutes until we moved onto something else. The things that scare her really surprise me, because not much seems to bother her.

In the end I was very glad we went. What's the saying, father knows best? Y
